Vintage Ross flanger analog effect pedal demo
very cool old Flange pedal from ROSS. Hardwired...no batteries allowed...super warm , and very cool...I bet you could even use this for vocals, bass, and cymbals...totally rockin little box of love.

There are also 3 internal trimpots inside these that can help you dial in much more dramatic sounds. They’ll let you get that jet airplane kinda thing going if that’s what yr after.
Just for the record Jack Black couldn’t hold down chops like this…. as simple as they are.
This is a guy just pickin along, if this were JB he would be flopping around on the ground to try and convince people he can play. check out some tv interviews with him. he sucks.
I have a sweet ROSS phase R2 from 79, is this even a company anymore>?”
haha thats what I was thinking
haha sounds like him!
Jack Black?
Im getting something like this except its pink
It is cool but perhaps not different enough from the MXR Flanger sound for me…Thanks again gearmanndude-Where did you get the coil-y cable? I have a beautiful replica of the Jimmy Page Dragon Tele and I just feel like I must get a coil-y cable:) My friends in American Bang use VOX’s new coil-y cables and they look cool as hell:)
Gearmanndude likes the cock
Looks to me the gig is up Jack, joking.
Anyways great vid, very cool. Where the hell would you find something like this? Is that brand even still around? Anyways, again, great vid brother.
if this is jack black play some tenacious d on your next demo support teh fans or at least school of rock plx
you should play some tenacious D for your next demo
thank you Mr. Black… you are indeed a hero to us all.
Wow. sounds very hi-fi, very nice pedal.
Wonder what the component difference is between this and a Boss variant.
P.S. – how is your dog ;o)
I’m gonna have to go down to the dreaded dungeon underneath my house and dig out my old “hardwired” Ross Phase Distortion. It’s warm, if memory serves, and the paint is worn off so it says ase tortion. Whatever that means.
Thats some sweet flange.
I’ve got a Ross PA head that I’ve had for like 100 years. It keeps working so I keep using it.
shake my tree in the beginning. nice.
thank you Mr. Black
Thanks again gearmanndude, for the sound comparisions.
