There is nothing shady going on here, it just seems as though eBay is being overrun by zombies and I am pretty much at my wits' end with it. But yes, on with the auction: Up for grabs here is a fully functional 1982 BOSS DM-2 (Blackback, MIJ).  This is the one everyone wants!  The MN3005 Chip's tone is golden. I baby all of my gear and this pedal has no issues!  I actually bought this through a lucky find many years ago where this thing was a NOS DM-2.  I bought it to replace my beloved MXR Analog Delay but, unlike my MXR, this pedal never came on the road and rarely left its original box (see photos below).  I set the condition of this to "New (other)" because really, it is barely used.  I did some recording with it a few years ago and, of course, it worked beautifully.  I never did step on it though... always used my hand to switch it on and off.  You will notice a couple of utterly tiny chips on both the left and right sides just above the input.  Truthfully I can't remember how those got there but it was probably from cords being plugged in without looking.  To look at it with out examining it closely, you'd swear it was new.  No mods, no velcro!  Mint mint mint! As you can see in the photos, the original instructions are also included and even the box is mint.  I have also included a scan of the blackback so that you can see it for yourself.  Also, this pedal dates specifically to June of 1982. As far as why I am even parting with this; I like this pedal a lot but I need to scale back some gear and it has been sitting in a drawer for many years now.  Someone needs to rock with this thing!  The reserve on this is low, so bid to win!  Thanks for checking out this auction, and best of luck to all bidders.
