It works perfectly, and only shows very minor aesthetic flaws. (there's a tiny chip in the paint on the backside) It includes the Maxon power supply and the original box. It sounds awesome. For those who may not know, this pedal is becoming a bit of a 'cult classic' as it provides an overdrive sound that yields greater dynamics than most any other pedal, due to its unique power supply circuit that internally ramps up the voltage to an operating voltage of 18 volts. This allows the nuances of your playing to be less compressed and masked by the overdrive. This effect pedal can be used with the supplied power supply (9v BOSS style) or a 9v battery. Many have compared this pedal to the coveted boutique effect pedal known as the Klon Centaur, and have concluded that this pedal has a better bypass signal, a more convenient power supply jack, a lower noise floor, and more tonal transparency and versatility, as it does not have the typical tubescreamer midrange hump that plagues so many overdrive pedals.
