this boss ME-50 b is in excellent shape and I used it in my home smoke free studio. It has a list price of $417 and you can get a good deal on a new one for $300 plus $16 for a power adapter. You can buy mine for far less! It works perfectly. It is very sturdy. there is a very small 1/4 inch long scratch on the bottom side otherwise it is hard to tell it is used. The ME-50b is loaded with features. I especially like the defretter that gives you a "Jaco" type sound. It has an infinite amount of sounds-compressor, octive box, phase, synth, distortion, reverbs, wah, equalizer, volume, and lots more. Take a look at Bosses demo online. You can use it for practicing-ipod input, headphone out and even has a drum in it so you can write bass lines or jam anytime insted of plugginging into your Ampeg SVT at 11PM.
