zvex is pretty cool. i think their fuzz factory is going to be, pretty much, the modern equivalent to the big muff. as far as popularity, and coolness. i also have recently gotten a 70s fender blender. INSANE. check out pro guitar shops video library for different fuzz pedals… i really like the black out effectors fix’d fuzz. that is one WAY cool fuzz.

the fuzzface setting hardly sounds like fuzz, its more overdrive distortion
I hate the second mode it sounds a little weird
I don’t like the big muff sound so much it has a little to much low end tone while this kinda does both cause i’m more of a high end sound person
yeah… a big muff would be one of the best big name fuzz pedals. theres a ton of really cool boutique fuzz pedals, too. but, i have a couple big muffs. haha. a 70s russian, and a new american. but, play around. theres a ton, and they all sound different.

he always has the crappiest amp and it makes the pedal sound terrible

Get a Behringer fuzzpedal, or a danelectro cf-1.. costs less, sounds *way* better
