A couple of weeks ago I sold an original 1966 Maestro Fuzz-tone, but none of the fuzz pedals I've listed in the past few years can top this one. A 1966 Fuzz Face, labeled Arbiter England (NOT Dallas Arbiter). First version, as far as I know. Pot codes are 9-6 and 12-6. Has the desirable NKT 275 germaniums. I think this is the Cream-era Clapton model, but I'm sure someone will have better info than me. I'm not a Fuzz Face expert, but most of what I've seen in pictures matches what's on the board here, not sure about the blue and black parts marked "LL" on the side, next to the resistors, and I don't even know what those parts are but I'm guessing they're capacitors?; If anything was changed it's not obvious to me but research carefully and ask any questions. I did notice that the footswitch has "C Mexico 0447" on the side, so maybe this is replaced. The color of the pedal is a dark grey, but the camera flash makes it look a little lighter. The screw holding the bottom plate on is a replacement but it works. The two knobs feel like they might be bakelite rather than plastic; they have a slotted set screw and white pointers. I don't know if those are original or old replacements as I've seen several different type knobs in the pictures of these. Also, there is a piece of black electrical tape on the top of the battery clip.  I just had this plugged in and it sounded really good to me, by the way, but again I'm no expert on these. One pot was a little noisy but I sprayed it and that seemed to solve the issue. The finish looks really good on this, the lettering is intact, the rubber is a little dirty as is the white "smiley" logo but I didn't want to bother with trying to clean it. One of the three brown rubber feet is missing, so the pedal doesn't sit flat but easy enough to find something to replace that with at any hardware store. NO reserve. Shipping will be fixed at $8 priority mail in the US, outside US at whatever it costs for a 3 lb package. Sorry, I don't alter values for shipping forms. Also, I don't have a buy-it-now, and no reserve, so it will definitely be selling! _gsrx_vers_333 (GS 5.4.2 (333))
